Mum: Okay, fine, put it in the trolley.

Five minutes later …

Me: How about we get the vegan cheese instead?

Mum: No.

Me: But Mum … (another lecture)

Mum: Okay, fine, put it in the trolley.

Five minutes later …

Me: Can we get these recycled, degradable garbage bags instead?

Mum: No.

Me: But Mum … w-

Mum: Jesus Christ, just put it in the trolley.

Day 1 - Favourite Series

Voyager. I just love how the crew aren’t just a bunch of randoms on a starship; they’re a family. I love how no matter how cheesy the plots are, you care about the characters so much that you can laugh with them, cry with them, and yell at the TV screen hoping they’ll hear you. I love how every time a character is injured and is threatening to die (or actually dies) you cry anyway even though you know they come back to life by the time the episode is over. =P

I love how Voyager reminds you that can be a pretty crappy individual, but also a perfect member of a perfect team.
